- Open the Mandal’s booking link (it’s usually shared in WhatsApp groups and on Instagram), or browse Garba and Dandiya nights in Akola.
- Choose the night and the pass: single, couple, group or season pass.
- Enter your name and mobile number.
- Pay by UPI with PhonePe, Google Pay or Paytm, or online if the Mandal offers it.
- Your pass appears on your phone and comes on WhatsApp. Show the QR code at the gate.
Paying by UPI to the Mandal
Many Mandals take UPI straight to their own account. After you pay, the Mandal confirms the payment and your pass arrives. If it takes a little while, your booking stays held for you while they check.
Book with the same mobile number you use on WhatsApp: that’s where your pass is sent.
Couple, group and season passes
Some passes let two or more people in with one QR code, so the whole family walks in together. A season pass is valid for several nights, with one entry each night: you show the same QR every evening.
At the gate
- Keep your pass open on screen before you reach the front of the line.
- Signal at big grounds can be weak, so open your pass before you reach the gate.
- Each pass works once per night, so don’t share screenshots of it.
- Check the night’s entry rules and dress code on the event page.
I lost the WhatsApp message. Can I get my pass again?
Yes. Open My Passes and sign in with the mobile number you booked with: all your passes are there.
Can I book for my friends?
Yes. Book several passes in one booking, or a group pass that lets everyone in with one QR code.
What should I wear?
Traditional is the norm: chaniya choli for women, kediyu or kurta for men. Some nights have their own dress code, shown on the event page. More tips in what to wear and carry to a Garba night.
