How to sell tickets for workshops, classes and shows with time slots
Run a workshop, class, tour or show more than once a day? Sell each time slot with its own seats, take UPI payments and check people in with a QR code.
Not every event is one big night. Pottery and baking workshops, dance classes, kids’ activities, heritage walks and comedy shows often run several times a day, each with a few seats.
One event, several time slots
When you create an event, switch on “Several time slots” and add the start times (for example 11 AM, 2 PM and 5 PM). Each slot gets its own seats and passes, and they appear together on your booking page, so people just pick a time.
Set the seats for each slot
Choose how many passes each slot has. When a slot fills up, people see it’s sold out and choose another time.
Pricing for small events
- A single seat for most bookings.
- Pair or group passes for friends and families: one QR code lets 2 or more people in.
- Early-bird prices for workshops you announce weeks ahead.
- Promo codes for your students, members or partner cafés.
Before the session
- Send a WhatsApp reminder with what to bring, where to park and when to arrive.
- Download your attendee list if you need names in advance (for materials or name tags).
At the door
Scan each pass at the entrance with your phone. A pass works once, so nobody gets in with a shared screenshot.
Ideas that work well with time slots
- Workshops: art, pottery, baking, photography.
- Classes: dance, music, fitness, yoga.
- Kids’ activities and summer camps.
- Tours and heritage walks.
- Comedy and theatre with two shows a night.
- Exhibitions with timed entry.
My course runs over several days. Can one pass cover it?
Yes. A multi-day pass lets the same person in once each day.
Can I run free sessions?
Yes. Set the price to ₹0. Free passes carry no fee, and you still see who’s coming.
